My recent stay at Swallows Nest Country Cottages in Storms River Village was a delightful retreat. The spacious country-style cottages with exposed brick walls overlooking the garden and pool area provided a charming ambiance. The welcoming staff went above and beyond, offering a warm reception and a much-needed welcome drink upon arrival.The full English breakfast served on the surrounding patio with majestic views of the Storms River Peak was a perfect start to the day. The housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and clean stay throughout. The in-room facilities, including the open-plan lounge with satellite TV and fully equipped kitchen, added a homey touch to our getaway.The location was ideal, with a variety of restaurants within walking distance for a taste of the local cuisine. The proximity to Tsitsikamma National Park allowed us to explore the natural beauty of the area through trail walking and other outdoor activities. The Tree Top Canopy Tours and Black Water Tubing nearby offered thrilling experiences for adventure seekers.Swallows Nest Country Cottages provided a serene and cozy escape, blending the beauty of the surroundings with comfortable accommodations and attentive service.
